Dear Cabell and Susie,
New Eve Maternity Home has reached two milestones with the help of your prayers (and financial support) as well as the gifts, dedication, and love of our volunteers and staff.
Our 50th baby, Nyla Sky, has been born!  She and her mother are doing well.  Just look at her!
Please welcome Nyla Sky, New Eve’s 50th baby!
Life is always beautiful even in difficult situations. “Life is never a mistake,” said the late Pope Francis.
The third New Eve mother has graduated from Laurel Ridge Community College and was named the “Outstanding Graduate” in her class!  Her degree is early childhood education.  Here is an excerpt from her story in the commencement program:
Nearly three years ago, she found herself in a predicament – she was pregnant and felt alone.  That’s when she discovered the New Eve Maternity Home.

“I was pregnant, had no support and this maternity home came up.”   She moved in when she was four months pregnant. “I moved to Winchester to the maternity house and just started building our lives from the ground up.  It has been amazing.  I move out in a couple of weeks. They really have helped me through motherhood and to build our lives.

New Eve offers a home, job and life skills, continuing education and more to expectant mothers and their children before and after the baby is born.”
Thanks to God’s grace and your prayers and support, another mother is now fully employed and moving out to independent living.
These mothers, and our other mothers as well, really inspire and encourage us.  I hope they have the same effect on you.
Our good friends in Front Royal are hosting a dance on June 20th to benefit New Eve.  I know it’s going to be fun!  I look forward to seeing you there!  (See details below.  Email “[email protected]” with any questions.)

Thank you to the American Heritage Girls for hosting a “Mother and Daughter Tea Party” to benefit New Eve at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Winchester.  And thanks to the Trail Life boys in Winchester who are busy keeping the lawns beautiful at our two houses.  Our youth volunteers also inspire and encourage us.

Please remember if you have a car in good working condition, we have two mothers who need your car.  If your car is not in the best condition, you can donate it to us HERE.
Thank you for your prayers and gifts.  New Eve is supported solely by your private donations.  We are currently sheltering six mothers, 10 children, plus two unborn children.  They also thank you because they know we could not do it without you.

Thank you and God bless you,

Cabell Angle
President
